Annual Yard Sale
Cross Keys will hold its annual yard sale on Saturday, May 19^th from 8:00 am till 2:00 pm. The proceeds from the sale will benefit the mission trip to Kentucky, and if anyone has anything they would like to donate to the yard sale, they may contact either Larry Hardwick at 856-262-7868, Tina Hegeman at 609-381-3611 or Karen Johnson at 609-970-8922. Tables and/or spaces are available for $10 each. Just contact one of the above people prior to the yard sale.

Confirmation Class
Our confirmation class will be joining the Church at both services on Sunday, May 20. Make sure you come out and support our young people as they take this next step on their spiritual journeys.

New Members Class
On Sunday, May 20 and May 27 there will be a New Members class after 11:15 am service for anyone wishing to join the church on June 3. Please see Pastor Brian for details.

Eleanor Corbett House
Save the date, and join us on Sunday, May 20^th to hear Manoucheka Emmanuel, the Director of the Eleanor Corbett House, share about her job. The Eleanor Corbett House is a home for approximately 25 homeless women on one side and several homeless families with a single parent on the other. They have been one of our mission projects for the last few years. Manoucheka is a lovely woman with a heart for the ones she serves.

Community Garden
It is planting time again! If you are interested in having a space in the Community Garden, please see Karen Johnson, Russ Fuscia or Larry Hardwick. There is no charge for this opportunity to grow your own fresh produce. Any plots not taken by May 27 will be planted in tomatoes, squash and peppers to help round out the Food Banks offerings with fresh vegetables. Anyone interested in helping to water, weed and harvest those plots would be welcome.

Time for Summer Camp!
If you love lots of bugs, yucky food and too much green Kool-Aid, summer camp is for you! Seriously, summer camp is a great way to grow in your faith, make new friends and have loads of Christian FUN! Cross Keys Church supplies Camperships to help defray the cost of summer camp for our youth. There is a day camp for children as young as 5 or 6 at Haluwasa and there is something for senior youth also. Up to 80% of the cost is supplied by the Church. There will be applications for Pinelands and Haluwasa in the narthex for anyone that is interested. Any Christian camp is eligible. All applications must be submitted by May 31^st to be approved at the June Council meeting. Return them to Karen Johnson or Dawn Jennings.

Not to be missed:
The Annual Chicken and Corn Cookout which is always held the 1^st Saturday in August.


Other Highlights

Faith Hall began as a dream in 1998 and became a realty in the summer of 2005, meeting our needs for space, fellowship, and recreation. It is fully paid for, a dream come true for Cross Keys and an example of what we can accomplish when God is with us and we work together for a common goal.

We are proud to award $8000 in scholarships annually to full time college students of all ages.
