The Nurture Committee meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 P.M. in Faith Hall. The committee has several functions which are to welcome newcomers, caring of members, community outreach, and Christian care.

The Nurture Committee has several ministries, such as a greeting card ministry which helps us keep in touch with those who may be ill or simply need to know they are in our prayers, providing children's bags to help occupy small children during services, and giving a jar of cookie mix to make our first time visitors feel more welcomed. There is a meal ministry, providing meals to those who may be ill or in need and a ministry preparing retreats during the year to help us grow in our walk with God.

We are always assessing the needs of the Church and the Community with a close relationship of maintaining a Caring Christian Outreach with dinners, cards, phone calls, and visits. If you're thinking of someone and want to send a card, there are cards in the vestibule of the church. Please pick one up to cheer someone.

  Women's Bible study starting Monday, May 2, 2011 at 7PM. Faith Hall Disciple Room "Bad Girls of the Bible." Come and see what we can learn from them. If interested please see Karin Clark or Linda Fuscia. We have CD's now available of the Sunday sermon's for our shut-ins and also on the web-site.

  Located in the vestibule of the church is Jacob's Ladder which has bags filled with crayons and coloring books for the young children to take while the Sunday service is taking place.

  Visitation teams will be starting to go visit with our shut-ins and also new visitors.

  We are selling Cross Keys Coffee Mugs for $4.00 each, please see Joe Short or Howard Lathrop.

Our Lay Shepherding Program...
• Pastor Brian's Bible Study meets every Thursday morning at 9 A.M.
• The Family Fitness Group meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6 P.M. to fellowship and exercise.
• Kids Club meets the 3rd Saturday of the each month at 10 A.M. for children 10 and under to enjoy music, crafts, and a great way to know God.
• The Drama Team meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 P.M. for special drama presentations done throughout the year.
• Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the 1st Monday of the month at 7:30 P.M. This group knits prayer shawls for the sick and as an outreach. This is a blessing to be able to give these shawls to neighbors that are in need of prayer all over the world.
• The Men's Group meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 P.M.
• Women's Programs include retreats and dinners with guest speakers during the year.
