Flower Talk...

Our Church is amazing! Despite difficult economic times, there were more poinsettia orders than ever…102!! More than enough to beautifully decorate the church for Christmas, make beautiful gifts for heart friends and others, and raise money for a gift to Corbett House in Glassboro. I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and are ready to begin a New Year in an amazing church!

The calendar for ordering alter flowers and memorial vases for 2012 is posted on the door in the narthex. If you have a very special date that you want to have church flowers commemorate, now is the time to secure it by signing the bottom of the sign-up calendar. After the second service, the flowers are yours on the Sunday you’ve dedicated them. Thank you…

Thank you to all who bought and dedicated tulips, lilies and daffodils to decorate the church so beautifully for Easter.� Everyone enjoyed the festive atmosphere to give glory to our God for the resurrection of Jesus.� I hope the flowers al continued to add joy and color to the rest of your Easter Day.� In all, there were 121 plants (more, if you remember, the lilies had 2 blooms per pot) and the proceeds will help support our mission program.� Again, thank you to all who helped in this effort.
